Water Treatment Program Results
Water system is ever changing dynamics and an
integral component in a plant. Naturally occurring impurities in the water
used, can cause fouling, scaling, corrosion, fouling , growth of
micro-organism in cooling system and scaling & corrosion in boiler water
system. If left uncontrolled, any of these conditions will result in loss of
efficiency and shut down. Lack of attention to water related problems are
often the cause of breakdown and loss of equipment that cost time, money,
and production.
Our total program concept addresses water borne problems that may shorten
the life of the equipment. Under this program, we monitor and control these
problems right from the valve of the Feed Water to the nozzles of the
Effluent Treatment Plant. We provide Total Solution of these problems and
always assure the following results in Cooling and boiler treatment program.
We can assure the following results with our
treatment in Cooling & Chiller
- No scaling/Very slight scale - Exact amount of scaling is
difficult to measure. However, assessment may be made by periodic
inspection or indirectly by analyzing Heat Transfer Data i.e. if the
Condenser/Heat Exchanger is opened in quarterly, this opening will
increase to one year initially.
- Microbiological Growth - Count range is not more than 1
million which is acceptable as national and international standard i.e.
if the Condenser/Heat Exchanger is opened in quarterly, this opening
will increase to one year initially. Assessment can be made by periodic
inspection or laboratory microanalysis.
- Carbon Steel Corrosion - Corrosion Rate will be less than 5
mile per year (MPY) which is acceptable as national and international
standard. It can be measured by standard Corrosion Rack and Corrosion
Coupon.
We can assure the following results with our
treatment in Boiler
- Scaling/Very slight scale - Exact amount of scaling is
difficult to measure. However, assessment may be made by periodic
inspection or indirectly by analyzing Heat Transfer Data. No silica
deposition on turbine blade
- Formation Of Passive Layer : Smoke Gray layer in boiler feed
water, boiler and Condensate units.
- Oxygen Corrosion Prevention - Oxygen will be removed by
chemical treatment before entering to boiler to prevent corrosion in
feed water boiler & condensate unit.
- Condensate Prevention - Formation of strong passive layer in
entire condensate unit & turbine blades.
